11 Scrap and Felicity

$

Despite taking Felicity’s best punches, Scrap keeps on throwing leather, and her sheer ferocity drives the bigger woman back into the corner. Felicity’s NOT an infighter, preferring to hit and move, avoiding her opponent’s punches altogether—Scrap is the sort that will cheerfully take everything her opponent has, if that’s what it takes to win. Felicity’s chin has not been tested hard; Scrap’s has. There’s still most of the second round left…

20 thousand Hits

Amazingly enough, I reached 20,000 hits. Not bad, considering it was less than a year ago that I got to seriously playing with 3D artwork. Many people contributed to my artwork by commenting, encouraging, and making suggestions, and I’m glad my art has pleased so many people.

The work of people like Majorfan, Yamazaki, CharedReyes, Tetsuo, MCPBA,and many others has inspired me—and also the amazing amount of art both old and new that Drew Hammond has posted. These same people and many more have inspired me to push my limits, and onwards and upwards, with their own art, with encouragement, and simply by watching.

Enough about me—now for the pic.

After Scraps (Also known as Alex, Scrap Iron, and “That darned kid!) asked who would win if Tara and Liz—Elizabeth…nickname Stormy—were to fight, both women immediately, without thinking, answered, “I would!”

Ten minutes later, they were in the ring, with Rose refereeing, and Scraps a crowd of one. Part of Rose wanted to keep the fight from happening…but she knows better than to try to deter a redhead on a mission.

Tara’s impulsiveness and confidence didn’t help her much this time, as the much bigger, stronger Liz pounded her almost with impunity. If Tara did manage to get inside, Liz’s uppercuts snapped her head back and gave Liz a chance to open the range, where her foot of height advantage led to her 8 ounce gloves slamming into Tara’s bloody face again and again.

Now, it’s the fifth round, and Tara’s taken a tremendous pounding; all the blood is hers, and she’s got plenty of bruises. There’s some more that hurt even more, but won’t show until she’s in the locker room—Liz hit her everywhere that was allowed, both to win the fight and, later on, to show her who was boss. Tara’s been down several times, and Liz is wondering what’s keeping the girl on her feet. But this time, she’s going down to stay. A hard left hook started her on the way to the canvas, and as she was on the way down, Liz bounced a hard right off of Tara’s exposed jaw, sending blood and consciousness flying. This one’s over.

Near the end of round one, both of them knew the likely outcome—but neither one would quit until it was finalized with a knockout.

We learn lessons from every fight, win or loose, and Tara got reminded of one simple truth: If you fight someone bigger and stronger, you have to be LOTS better to make it close. Knowing your opponent helps, too. Liz has seen Tara fight on TV, so she had an idea what would and wouldn’t work. Tara had never seen Liz in action, so she didn’t know that she was fast for her size, knows what she’s doing—and punches very hard for her size.

Having learned her lesson, Tara will definitely want a rematch—and Liz may well give her one.

If I missed anyone, I apologize—it’s very late as I write this, but I wanted it posted tonight.

Thanks to all who made 20 thousand hits possible.

(And an afterthought: my 10K deviation had Tara in a bad spot--as did my 20K. With that sort of track record, what's up for 30K?

Sam and Tara 30

Sam continues her assault, following the uppercut with the classic follow-up—a hard left hook. It’s a classic because it works so well; a good uppercut leaves you positioned to get your entire body weight behind a hook from the opposite hand. It’s even more effective in this case, since Sam’s uppercut snapped Tara’s head back, leaving her very vulnerable. POW! Tara’s hurting, staggering back—and much to Sam’s disappointment, the bell rings. Tara’s going to have a minute to recover; will it be enough?

And—what strategy should each fighter pursue when the mayhem resumes?

After The Fight: Valentine's Day

Chrissy and I have beat the crap out of each other for 4 rounds, by which time she’d taken control of the fight.  Another 2 rounds, and she’s reduced me to a self-propelled heavy bag.  I fought on for another 4 rounds—if absorbing a wide variety of painful blows can be called “fighting.”  Might call this the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.)

But the bright, vivacious lass has finally stopped throwing progressively lighter punches—blows designed to prolong the pain—and knocked me clean out with a perfect uppercut to my unprotected jaw.

As sweet after the fight as she was brutal during the fight, it’s time for a tender moment in the deserted gym.  She is a sweetie…and it's Valentine's Day

Chrissy belongs to MCPBAmcpba.deviantart.com/ , and is playing here with his permission.  So far, she’s the only fighter in my Deviant Art Fighters I’d Like to Fight that’s smaller and lighter than me.

(She is vicious in the ring—but on the other hand, her opponent chose to get in the ring—and in this case, knows what she’s like.  And there’s always the option of giving up—no one HAS to take the sadistic beatings she likes to give out.  This isn’t the first time I’ve fought her, nor will it be the last.)

I plan to post a few tender moments pics over the next few days--though they will often include "tenderized moments"

Red caught her with a solid left hook, putting her down--but is taking advantage of the opportunity to hit her again as she falls into the punch....OUCH!

But--will she STAY down?

Size Matters Not

Tara’s the sort to get in the ring with anyone—and Red’s no exception. She also believes Yoda, when he says, “Size matters not,” and here, she’s showing that, in some circu8mstances, he’s right. A perfect shot into the solar plexus can end any fight in an instant—and here’s a classic example. Of course, she also, on occasion, gets brutally reminded that size often matters a great deal…

I have had very little time for any artwork of late, so I thought people might like a look at an older pic I did, but never posted. This was mainly a practice pic—enjoy!

Evalyn Working Me Over

Another pic of me in the ring with Evalyn. The big Amazon has been pounding me about the ring, and has me cornered, hurt, and she’s working on finishing me off. This is a time when being able to take a brutal pounding and keep fighting is a disadvantage—it means that she’ll be able to work me over longer before I’m knocked out.

Of course, it shouldn’t take long, with me in this state, trapped, with thebig lass driving her 8 ounce gloves into me at will…

Sinking deep

Erika and I are going at it again—some good clean fun out in the barn.  We’ve beat each other up a few times, both boxing and bare knuckle—myy speed and finesse can sometimes give me the win despite her power.  She’s getting much better at slipping punches as time goes on—and here, she’s showing off her improved finesse.  Her hands are low, inviting a punch in the face—but that’s what she was planning on.  Instead of catching her prominent nose, my jab slides by her head as she leans to the side—and POW! My firm breast is wide open, and she takes a cruel pleasure in driving her hard fist deep into the soft target—it HURTS, even with big gloves—with bare knuckles, and the power and weight Erika can bring to the fine art of hurting people, it’s VERY painful.

When someone Erika’s size and strength is coming close to matching a smaller lass for speed and finesse, it’s very painful, very fast…

I’ve done a lot of pics that haven’t seen the light of day, and time hasn’t allowed me to do much in the way of new stuff, so I thought I’d pull some from my older pics.

I'm gonna HURT you

As the big lass tries to send her smaller opponent’s jaw into the next town, and give her consciousness a brief vacation, the redhead steps just outside the powerful blow. A swift angle change, and the redhead’s glove lances into the momentary opening, hitting where the pain will be most intense. She can’t hit as hard as her bigger opponent—but still has plenty of power, and nailed her opponent’s sensitive nipple.

The intense pain from a deliberate shot to the chest will step up the intensity of the action—someone is going to get knocked out for sure. And if the blonde has any sort of mean streak, that will bring it out with a vengeance.

The title reflects the blonde’s attitude after taking this blow…

This a preview scene for a future project.

Sam and Tara 21

Not so reassuring is the spot of her own blood on Tara’s shoulder, the pain in her nose and the stuffy feeling that speaks of more blood flowing—an injury that Tara might be able to exploit. And she had to clinch; a smaller women got her with a sneaky combo, bloodying her and forcing her to clinch under those small, brutal black gloves. She’s having to admit that Tara’s as good as she is, although not as strong—beating her up will take some time, and she’ll take some hard punches too before she reduces the impudent Tara to a punching bag.

Her head’s still ringing, but it’s time to HURT Tara, and get to the part she most likes—pounding someone on the ropes.

So--having seen what both women look like, and their assements, who's going to win?

Melissa' s Expectations 1

After less than a minute of boxing, Melissa is very confident that she’s got the fight in the bag…she’s faster, stronger, and more skilled than I am, hitting me almost at will. Ironically, that hook to her head sealed her mental verdict; she’s felt my power and respects it, but isn’t worried. In short, she thinks she could have me out in a few rounds—but plans on making it last. (2-3 rounds of fighting to take total control, then as many as I have the stamina and guts to endure.) She likes to really drive home how outclassed someone is-especially since it was harsh words that led up to the fight. She wants to see fear on my face before she knocks me out—or make me give up rather than face any more of her punishment.

We’ll see if it goes this way…

Blast from the Past

Until Jackie came to Rose’s Gym, they hadn’t seen each other in a couple of years. Here’s the last time they were in the same place…

Jackie has since moved up in weight—much to Felicity’s relief. But, despite the smiles in the photo of those two, Scrap, and little Liz, in “The Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse," there’s a certain amount of unease on Felicity’s part; she’s standing next to the two people that have beat her the worst—ever.

This photo, with Felicity crumpled in the corner, is one that’s reprinted in almost every pre-fight analysis of any of Jackie’s upcoming fights. And now, Felicity’s going to be seeing her on a regular basis…

Red Vs. Rose 06

Rose continues her assault, driving Red back, until the big woman, off balance, goes over backwards. It’s only midway through round one, and Rose has scored the first knockdown of the fight. Both know, however, that there’s been no real damage to either of them—yet—and they’re both getting a feel for the other’s strengths and weaknesses. Rose is faster, and a bit sneakier—Red is definitely stronger. As for endurance and the ability to take a punch—that remains to be determined.

Barring a lucky punch, this fight won’t be over in a hurry…

Knees HURT!

I’m a boxer, and a good one. Erika’s a brawler as well as a boxer. Here, she’s using her greater experience (and size) ruthlessly. After just a few seconds of trying to land some punches on each other, she steps in, grabbing me and pulling me close and she slams her knee into my ribs. I’m not prepared for that, and she pulls it off easily; the first knee lift blasts some air from my lungs amidst a gasp of pain.

Straining against her much greater strength, I need to get loose; if I don’t, there’s another knee to the ribs coming—and another. This is a friendly fight—but it’s still gonna hurt like crazy if I can’t get loose; we’re out to knock each other out.

I started this pic mainly to practice pics of grappling and clinches, and I like it. OUCH!

Overconfidence

Red and I were chatting, and the topic of fistfighting came up—a topic which she’s an expert in.  Well, one comment led to another, and it ended up changing from a chat to a friendly fight—bareknuckles to a knockout.

Red was beating the tar out of me—I’m a mess, and she’s almost unmarked—but I slipped inside and drove a hard punch into her gut—then a hard hook to her jaw.  It landed perfectly, allowing me an instant to throw her to the ground and get a mount.  This one’s over; the big, tough redhead’s getting knocked out by someone almost half her size…

Of course, the rematch might be pretty brutal…

Flash Knockdown

Anne is on the canvas, a victim of what’s sometimes known as a “flash knockdown.” My punch didn’t significantly hurt or daze her, and she can get right back to her feet to resume the fight, Rather, the punch caught her on the cheek at just the right moment, by surprise, and down she went, off balance. The punch had some power—a pro heavyweight isn’t easy to knock down—but it’s still a fluke.

Of course, now she’s likely to be a bit miffed, and the “light sparring session” might get a little bit more intense than originally planned—and she hits a LOT harder than me…

Sam and Tara 31

Between Rounds

The second round has just ended; Tara didn’t quite go down from Sam’s last combo—but the bell saved her a pounding, or even saved her from being knocked out. Sam’s punches have taken a toll on her—and now there’s no doubt in Tara’s mind, Sam knows her biggest weakness. To make things worse, her left eye is swollen almost shut, and her right eye’s also showing some swelling. Although her breast feels like it’s on fire after Sam’s brutal massage, Tara knows that won’t decide the fight.

It’s still anyone’s fight, she thinks—her eyes are bad and worse, but Sam’s nose might be bad enough to play a major role. If she can land a good nose-breaker, she may yet win the fight.

Both have the sort of hurt that gets worse quickly—especially when taking more punches in the same spots—so they both need to finish the fight quickly, yet without taking many more punches themselves. So far, both have been pounded harder than in many much longer fights.

The only corner aid either of them have, as agreed before the fight, is that Sarah will get them cloth with ice in it, and water. That’s what Tara has in the one minute rest, as she struggles to clear her head and plan her tactics before going back out to face Sam’s brutal punches—and unload her own.

Tara feels like she's taken 10,000 hits by now--and Sarah's showing no sign of letting up. They've fought more than a few times, and Sarah got the win this time, for a change, and is showing the smaller woman who's boss.

I never expected 10,000 hits--thanks all for commenting on my works!
