No Chance 15

After taking over a half-dozen clean, unanswered punches to my face, Liz has me on the canvas. I’m hurt, almost seeing two of her as the room spins in circles around me. But, Liz isn’t counting; she’s standing there, looking down and saying, “Get up—that can’t be all you’ve got…”

If I were thinking clearly, I’d stay down—but her arrogant attitude and nasty remarks have my blood boiling…
