That quick dodge did get me away from her right, but gave me only a tiny fraction of a second’s respite; she’s on me right away, before I can get my balance back from the frantic dodge.
She’s already figured out my biggest weakness—uppercuts—and got plenty of beef behind this one. That hammer she calls a fist smashed into the bottom of my left breast, viciously stretching it on its way to my face-hurting me in two places with one punch. If you haven’t experienced it, there’s no describing the pain of such a hard punch in either the breast or eye—and if you have, there’s no point.
Her left is down low—but no matter; she knows I’m trying to avoid her punches more than hit back—a sure sign that she’s got things under control.
She went for my eye to work on closing it—even if she wanted to, the end of the round’s so close that she likely couldn’t knock me out this round—and she doesn’t want that, anyway. But a nice, pretty black eye and some lovely swelling on the chest—that sticks with me the entire fight—and she can admire it between rounds. Of course, she thnks my looks could use some more “improvement,” and she’s planning on giving that to me.
That’s why she’s so popular with fans—but not with her fellow boxers--she's mean.
