I did a little bit of work on this pic, and thought it might be informative to show the work as it progresses. I’ve added background, changed the lighting a bit, and most important, made some subtle changes in Scrap, trying to make her look a little bit younger.
To clarify things, this isn’t going to be a “try to kill each other” type fight, her as yet nameless <hint…hint…> brother doesn’t want to hurt his sister—just prove a point, show her who’s tougher, and make her feel things for a few days. Despite the size difference, she believes she’s tougher…
Shadows don’t seem to show well on the grass—not sure why. But, I think the outside setting is worth having less noticeable shadows, if I can’t make it work better.
To those who have mentioned possible names and apparent ages, thanks! Anyone have any more thoughts?
