20 Scrap and Felicity

As Liz moved aside to allow the fight to resume, Felicity knew what to expect: Scrap would either try to plow in and force the fight into an inelegant toe to toe brawl, or, if she needed more tme to recover from the devastating knockdown, she’d stay away.

Felicity was ready for either: if Scrap trried to rush in, Felicity would make sure to meet her with a barrage of fast, hard shots as she moved in—and if she kept her distance, move forwards, using her speed and power advantage to pepper the kid with yellow leather.

Unfortunately for Felicity, Scrap’s learned a lot from Tara—the kid faked one of her infamous charges—when Felicity tried to smash her face, she was ready. She stopped dead just as Felicity committed—then ducked under the right—and had a perfect opening for a full power, “I’m going to HURT you,” punch to Felicity’s ribs.

Felicity’s very good—but she’s won her fights by decisive decisions, not by knockouts (usually) and fought at a distance—no one really knows how much she can TAKE. Scrap intends to find out—even if it means she takes a lot, too. No one’s ever questioned the kid’s heart or ability to take punishment…
